In the second leg of the CAF Cup , Diables noirs du Congo won (4-2) on November 9 in Brazzaville ahead of Passe FC of the Seychelles. The Congolese goals were scored by Carl Wunda Ngana (10th), Déo Gracias Bassinga (20th), Destaing Boris Sikoula (23rd) and Carof Bakoua (75th). The Seychellois scored thanks to Jean Aimarthelin Ratianaridimby (51st and 53rd). In the first leg, the reigning vice-champions of Congo-Brazzaville had taken over their hosts 2-0.

This is the first time that the club founded in 1950 has reached the group stage of a continental competition. The Black and Yellow intend to go further into the story. They are now aiming for the quarter-finals. “The federation and the people would be proud of us if we got out of the group stage and reached the quarter-finals. We will play for ourselves and for the Congolese state ,” promised Black Devils coach Clément Massamba at a  post-match press conference.
